The BAADER IS 693 is a high-speed, industrial fish de-scaling machine primarily designed to remove scales from salmon, trout, ocean perch, haddock, and pikeperch without damaging the skin or flesh.
It is widely used in commercial seafood processing facilities, both on-shore and on vessels (off-shore).
Key Features & Mechanics
- Spindle System: The machine uses six specialized de-scaling spindles (three mounted above the fish and three below). These spindles feature different geometries to cleanly adapt to the rounded contours of fish like salmon.
- Throughput: It can process between 25 to 50 fish per minute (the smaller IS 693 S variant can handle 33 to 100 fish per minute).
- Adjustability: It handles both whole and gutted fish, featuring stepless, single-button speed control to easily adapt to different fish sizes or species.
